CoVID impact !!

CoViD19 – Chinese originated Virus in December2019

“ 92000+ cases in India “ , “ more than 20 lakh cases in the world “ , “ No cure or vaccines found till now “ - these are some of the headlines we hear every day.

Initially when my mom told me about the virus and the deaths in China , I was like “ what’s the big deal mom ? It will stop in a few days and was ignored or not taken seriously!. And then gradually, the virus was banqueting around the world . Eventually, things started taking a different turn – malls, theatres, restaurants being shut, schools closed and finally the national lockdown was declared by our honorable Prime Minister!.

Being a student, I was more happy about the schools being closed than being worried about the spread of the deadly virus until online classes began of course!.

Now , close to two months of lockdown , with social distancing put in place, the entire population has been refrained from socializing or meeting friends, we were cordoned from eating outside or playing,  I realized that the impact was humungous on our normal lives than how we were living just  12 weeks before!.

So much has changed - Mom, who always used to take away the mobile, now forces it on us,  so that we attend  our classes and do our assignments online. Earlier days, we used to flick our handset to school, the time has changed, now they have got school to our cell phones or tablet . Earlier “Hotspot” was used to get connected to internet so that we could browse online or get access on social media, On the contrary, the word ‘Hotspot’ today is widespread, where the pandemic is more

The atmosphere too has changed a lot in the last couple of months!. The fast moving life has come into a cessation state!. The lifestyle globally has evolved with too much of restriction which at times is so suffocative since the antidote isn’t discovered  on the ongoing contagion!.

Coming to think of it, just like how a coin has two sides , the virus also has its positives as well as negative aspects . “Am I scared ? “ No. “Should I be scared ?”

Frankly speaking,  I don’t know ! “How do I feel ?” I  feel amazed and overwhelmed to know that we are creating content for the history textbooks of the future but at the same time it haunts that we don’t know when all this is going to end, or will it ever end, or will we have to live with it for lifelong? The life has taken a complete U-turn, though we will have to live with it and overcome with precautionary measures, I really miss those days.

I sincerely pray to the Almighty to have a permanent cure and the remedy is invented at the earliest.
